A Bit About Me
As someone who is half Filipino and half Italian, I proudly sport an awesome handlebar mustache inspired by a fraternity brother from my college days. During the COVID shutdown, I let it grow out, thinking, "Let's see what I can do here," and thus, the handlebar was born.

I thrive on the laughter and happiness of being around others. During the summer, my wife Briana and I host regular BBQs with friends, enjoying all the best games from Target. Recently, my BBQ skills have focused on mastering the smoker, tackling everything from ribs to brisket. While I don't claim to be a pro, I can certainly hold my own at friend gatherings.
In my free time, I indulge in playing video games, particularly racing simulations. I'm fully committed to a virtual racing league on Sundays, keeping my competitive spirit alive. Additionally, I play in a weekly adult basketball league for fun, but my competitive nature means I always play to win. This drive has been a significant motivator in my life, pushing me positively, although it has occasionally led to challenges.

Beyond my personal interests, I am a proud member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, where I held multiple leadership positions during college. I currently serve on the alumni board, supporting undergraduates as they navigate college and transition into the workforce. While the stigma of fraternity life often centers on partying, we strive to build leaders with strong ambitions and lasting bonds. Most of my groomsmen were fraternity brothers who now lead successful careers in their respective fields.
I am always eager to share a good dad joke and have a wealth of knowledge on various random topics (mostly useless, but fun facts).
My professional journey
My journey into the world of fitness and wellness began with my love for competitive basketball. From middle school through high school, I played on both school teams and a travel AAU team. This experience instilled in me a passion for sports and competition, but it also introduced me to recurring injuries—ankle, knee, and hip issues—that often kept me sidelined. These challenges sparked my interest in kinesiology and led me to pursue a degree in the field, initially aiming for a career in physical therapy.

During my college years, I immersed myself in learning about the human body's movement and function. I discovered that I could help others recover from injuries, aches, and pains through personal training, achieving notable success. This realization shifted my focus, and I found great satisfaction in assisting clients to move better and return to the activities they love without pain.
As my college career progressed, I transitioned to full-time personal training. The greatest reward came from hearing clients share their success stories—whether it was playing with their kids or grandkids, returning to beloved sports, or simply living pain-free. This drive to help others inspired me to further my education and teach others how to achieve these results.
I advanced to a management position at a corporate gym, where my focus shifted to training other trainers to maximize their impact on clients' lives. This role allowed me to influence more people indirectly through fitness and wellness. Eventually, I left the corporate world to establish Cyclone Legacy Coaching while pursuing my master’s degree in kinesiology. My goal was to enhance my ability to help clients and lay the groundwork for future education for other trainers.

At Cyclone Legacy Coaching, I combine science-based training with personalized care to help clients achieve their fitness goals. My programming is deeply rooted in evidence-based practices, ensuring that every aspect of my clients' training is optimized for success. I am dedicated to making exercise less confusing and more accessible, striving to empower individuals to move better, feel better, and live pain-free lives.
